JaJah Bringing VoIp to the Iphone

Category: General, Information — Greg @ 10:14 am

jajahThe ever cheaper VoIP is set to make it’s debut into the realm of the iPhone making it one of the cheapest communication options in the world. VoIP has managed to dent the telecommunications market which has shifted focus onto the internet service provider area. This area is where they can make more money for the advent of VoIP is taking it’s toll on the market.
With them making a shift towards improving their services by upgrading equipment, they are also counting on WiMax to take their services into more areas that are more remote for the range of 30 miles is better than current WiFi which is limited to around 30 yards or so which makes implementation more expensive needing more hardware for improved coverage thus lessening the need of redundant hardware. But rather than threaten current DSL or other high-speed internet access, WiMax is designed to augment the service to areas that are too remote that traditional infrastructure is not very cost-effective.
