VOIP Spreads Like Wildfire

In the first quarter of this year, there is a reported increase in subscriptions of
pure-play VoIP or Voice-Over-Internet-Protocol, which is either replacing or complementing existing traditional landline services, increased by 7 million in the second quarter. American households now connecting via broadband networks. As an alternative for the conventional traditional home landline VoIP has become a popular and cost-effective means of communication. Players in the industry that continuously dominating the market are Vonage America, Verizon, VoiceWing, and AT&T CallVantage, SunRocket and Lingo. They represent the 54 percent of the purely subscriptions market.
